Superhero Centerpiece Tutorial
I used the foam brush to spread on the Styrofoam glue and then dipped each side into a pile of black glitter.
Then I searched the Internet for comic book covers. Copied and Paste them into Microsoft Word and sized them to 1-15/16 in x 7-7/8 in (the same size as the foam block). Printed on thick white paper (sold by the package at Micheal's). Below are some of the great comic book covers I found.
The pictures were then glued (with Styrofoam glue) to both sides of the foam block. Whats great about this is that you won't have a one sided centerpiece. I stuck the finished Styrofoam block on to a black painted dowel and in the base it went.
Below is the finished project. As I stated in the earlier post, I got the base from awesome events and was reused from my sons 2nd birthday party. The base is also made from Styrofoam, black glitter and colored foil. You can also find these supplies at your local craft store and make your own.
I fell in love with the Wonder Woman Party from Setting the Mood. Jamee Bryant is such an inspiration . I especially fell in love with the comic book name centerpiece that was created. I knew Bailey had to have this. So I re-created by own. Check out the beginning of my project below.

Super Hero Centerpiece
I have been working on the centerpieces for Bailey's party and this is what I have come up with thus far. There will be some changes but you can get the picture from this. I used the same base that I used at his race car party (notice the checkered bottom, this will be changed)but added a little super hero flare. The base was originally purchased at Awesome Events.
Check out the beginning stages below. I'll give a tutorial in a later post, but it was really simple.
