I love creating new invitations to go along with any theme that I am planning. I will be doing a Bow ties or Bows baby shower in July. I chose the colors Red, Light Blue and Grey. Here is the invitation.

Up Up Away Mint Green, Yellow and Grey Baby Shower
I had the pleasure of developing an Up Up & Away Baby Shower for a friend from High School.
She specifically requested Elephants and the colors; Mint Green, Yellow and Grey. So that's what I gave her.
I love to be transparent with the parties that I create and show you that you can always DIY! So check out the details and all of the tutorials below.
I wish I could take credit for the genius idea of the Hot Air balloons. I got the tutorial from Laura @ Live Craft Love. Check out the tutorial here. It was super easy but made a big impact.
Additionally, the clouds were made via a tutorial found from Andersruff.

The mother to be is Vegan. Her sister got this cake especially for her from Sticky Fingers in Washington DC. And might I say, it was delicious! I just added a cute mini banner and Viola!
Cotton Candy from the Dollar Tree. It was so good. I just bagged them up with these tie bags found at Michael's and added a label.
My Fabulous friend Heather of Sugar Fairy Celebrations always comes through. She made the delicious elephant cookies and the infamous Oreo Cookie Cake Pops!
All the candy came from Oh Nuts. Love them!
Staples did a great job of blowing up the backdrop sign. I just got on there website, uploaded a PDF version of the sign, chose the desired size and sent it directly to the closet store near me. It was ready within 4 hours.
Dessert Labels that I created.
The Father-to-be's mother and aunt made all of the delicious good. Look how vibrant this fruit is!
The little grey and white bags, 36" balloon with a Hot Air Balloon netting and mint green polka dot straws(seen in the rice crispy treats) came from BonFortune.
I was so upset that I left the Hot Air Balloon netting :-( that I got from BonFortune. But I did create this tassel to hang on the balloon.
I displayed the invitation that I designed and made beside this fringe letter. This was fun and easy. I got this festive tutorial from Tara of One Stylish Party
Loved how the punch matched the party decor
I also had table Hot Air Balloons. I'll give you a tutorial on how to create these in a later post.
Two of the three Hostesses and Friends of the Mother and Father to be.
Erica was so surprised and had no clue that this was the day of her event. She was in awe of everything.
The event was a lovely time and as you can see that Mother-to-be could not be anymore happier.
The soon to be Big Sister
The Happy Family
Hope you enjoyed!

Monogram & Mimosas Bridal Shower
This weekend, I had the pleasure of creating and decorating a Monogram and Mimosas Brunch Bridal Shower. We used the most vibrant and fun colors. When you have Mimosas involved, it can lead to nothing but fun all the way around.
The colors were Pink, Purple, Orange and Yellow. I love the look of Ombre, so I used it wherever I could throughout the shower.
This was the champagne bottle that I decorated in Pink and Gold Ombre. Then of course I added the love sign in an Ombre Purple. You can find this wooden love sign in Michael's.
Check out the tutorial that that I used here.
Here is the Mimosa Bar. I used Polka dots and Lines for the signage. This brought a vibrant fun vibe to the table.
This cute little frame came from Michaels for just 2 dollars.
Also love the silhouette of the woman holding the champagne glass. Perfect depiction of the bride to be.
We added a dessert buffet at the last min, but it was perfect for the Ombre letters that I made. The large C came from Michael's and the two smaller letters are from Hobby Lobby. I just used glitter to Ombre the letters and hot glued them together. This was a time consuming task, so I suggest that if you don't have the time, you can always order from Ten23 Designs. They have such beautiful items!
You can't go wrong with a 36 inch Pink Balloon. I ordered this one from Fancy That Loved. Ashley got the item to me very quick. I made the tassel garland to add to the balloon. Look out for the tutorial in a later post.
One of the lovely bridesmaids made the cupcakes and unfortunatly they melted during transport. But the cute little cake toppers I made help them look like this was all part of the plan…lol. This is a proven fact that nothing is every perfect at your party.
We wrote advice to the bride to be.
The centerpieces were created by using a white box from Michaels, faux floral flowers so the bride can enjoy for a long time and I topped it off with glittered wooden letters. Plain letters found at Michaels. I added a wooden dowel to hold the letter up.
You can't have a brunch without brunch food. The guest enjoyed, Quiche, french toast sticks, Parfaits, mini pancakes and bacon and sausage on skewers.
What would a Party be if you didn't top it off with a mini photo shoot with the bride and groom! They were such a fun couple. Congrats to you both!
