Chevron Zoo Crew Office Baby Shower

The Chevron Zoo Crew Baby shower was fantastic. The mother and father-to-be were so grateful. It is my belief that even though this is an office shower, it does not mean that the decorations should be forgotten. This is my third office shower and I love creating something new for the same space. Check out my previous showers here and here

Centerpieces were full of glitz and sparkle. You can check out my post on how I made them here. I made all the water bottle labels, and signage. As posted previously, I got the free Chevron Template from TLT Panel and the animal silhouette from Karen Whimsy

One of my ultimate helpers!!! She really believes she is Vanna White.
Once again the men were very competitive on the games. Even using two game cards at a time.

Congratulations Parents-to-be!!!!
Though it was a snow storm the day before and they shut down the federal government, I came out to decorate the party in my boots and all.

Office Baby Shower-Zoo Crew

We are having another Office Baby Shower. I really love to do these because I like to show that office parties can be fabulous too! I have previously done 2 office parties here and here and I recently did the office Christmas Party(unfortunately no pics).

A co-worker that I have known for the pass seven years got married last year and is now expecting her first child. I couldn't think of a more deserving person to throw a shower for. This one is going to be a surprise because she would never let us do it any other way.

So I have secretly found her registry to get some ideas of her style and what would be perfect for a shower. Below is her babies bedding-Zoo Crew by Just Born. I think that this is the most perfect simple theme and the colors are to die for.  Check it out below.

I love the minimalistic modern zoo theme. It really speaks to her personality as well. She is not a fussy person and pretty much stays to herself.
So of course I had to create an inspiration board as I did for the two previous showers. I love the thought of using Chevron in Navy blue and incorporating sparkly animals. I'm going to try to do this myself. Wish me luck!

Safari Adventure

"The Invitation" that I made with the help of Microsoft Word

Safari Birthday Boy

Kids Parties are my passion. I recently completed another fabulous party for my son's 3rd Birthday(seen above). When the kids first arrived they were STOPPED at the "Passport Check In" station where they received pre-made passports and a Serengeti Agenda.

The kids then moved to the dress up station where they "Became a Jungle Animal". The kids received costumes and then got their face painted into an animal. Even the adults got involved. They loved that they were able to keep the costumes.

After the kids were dressed, they visited the "Serengeti National Park"and took pictures with the Lion and Elephant

Next the kids went to "See the Monkey's". Here they created Monkey visors and Monkey finger puppets.

Then the kids and parents "Enjoyed an African Feast" at the jungle table. The Feast included;
Safari Sandwiches - peanut butter and jelly sandwiches Jungle Sandwiches - turkey and cheese on wheat bread
Animal Spotted Pizza-pepperoni pizza/cheese available for all you non-spotted lovers.
Snake Eggs- seedless grapes
Croc Teeth: apple slices
Dried Ants - plain raisins
Beetle Wings-potato chips Creepy Crawly Bugs - gummy worms
Jungle Juice-fruit juice

The kids then participated in the "Reptilian Hunt"
I put all kinds of interesting reptiles, from crocodiles to snakes all around the room and the kids went for a hunt to find as many as possible to fill up goody bags.

After the Reptile Hunt, the kids enjoyed "Safari Cake" made by Cakes Plus in Laurel, Maryland
For the Take home gift. I gave out "Safari Backpacks" filled with anything I could find that had animals on it.
