You've Been Paroled-Law Enforcement Retirement Party

I had the pleasure of doing a few decoration for a Retirement Party. It was for a women that I have worked with for 8 years.
Since we are Parole Officers, the theme You've Been Paroled seem to be very fitting.
She is also very known for her huge Afro, so I knew that this would be the perfect Silhouette to utilize on all of the paper goods.
The Centerpieces were reused boxes used here and here. I just wrapped them and added some tissue paper and our agency seal and badge.
All materials were found at the Dollar Tree. I also found black Ball and Chains at the Dollar Tree and spray painted them Metallic Gold.

The Guest of Honor decided to come in as an inmate about to be paroled. This was a hit!

Wishing Tree was a big hit and a nice entrance detail. I go this manzanita tree from efavormart.com.

Royal Baby Shower Project 1

The first project that I have completed for the Royal Baby Shower "Hails" from the Dollar Tree. This is my go to place for inexpensive finds. We all love the big pacifiers and baby carriages. I found the acrylic pacifiers and plastic baby carriages and painted them a metallic gold. Perfect for the shower.
I used Metallic gold paint, Martha Stewart's glitter paint and a yellow paint as the base(all purchased at Michael's for under 2 dollars). I couldn't have asked for a better result. Check it out below.

Royal Baby Shower

My Latest Baby Shower creation is just in time for the birth of the Royal Baby. I have a client who's sister is having a boy. She gave me free rein to come up with any theme I wanted. But I had to use Navy Blue. I'm so in love with Gold right now, I knew this would be the perfect combination. What reminds me most of Gold is Royalty.

I loved the Pink Glitter and Gold Royal Baby Shower that HWTM did for a client. I will be getting a lot of my inspiration from here. Check out some of the pictures below and you can get the full party details here.

Here it what I have started. I love the signage for each table and have used them several times at other parties. I also have begun to develop the invitation and will added more touches like gold paper and possibly a ribbon. I purchased the carriage silhouette from Can Stock Photo. The gold chevron metallic wallpaper (actually for a phone-Can you believe it?) came as a free download from For Chic Sake. Check both out here and here

I'll be posting my many projects along the way.
