Royal Baby Shower

My Latest Baby Shower creation is just in time for the birth of the Royal Baby. I have a client who's sister is having a boy. She gave me free rein to come up with any theme I wanted. But I had to use Navy Blue. I'm so in love with Gold right now, I knew this would be the perfect combination. What reminds me most of Gold is Royalty.

I loved the Pink Glitter and Gold Royal Baby Shower that HWTM did for a client. I will be getting a lot of my inspiration from here. Check out some of the pictures below and you can get the full party details here.

Here it what I have started. I love the signage for each table and have used them several times at other parties. I also have begun to develop the invitation and will added more touches like gold paper and possibly a ribbon. I purchased the carriage silhouette from Can Stock Photo. The gold chevron metallic wallpaper (actually for a phone-Can you believe it?) came as a free download from For Chic Sake. Check both out here and here

I'll be posting my many projects along the way.

Bundle of Joy Mint Green Yellow and Grey Baby Shower

I developed a Gender Neutral Baby Shower for a customer.
It began with a little elephant that I found at the Dollar Tree.  I knew that I had to incorporate this little guy into the theme. Hence a Bundle of Joy was developed.
Of course I love chevron. I found the perfect grey and white chevron wrapping paper at Home Goods. I used it for the invitation and the back drop for the Dessert Buffet.

Gone Fishing Surprise 40th Birthday Party

A Surprise Party is always a hassle to pull off, but my friend Colette and I did it ever so smoothly. Her husband was non-the-wiser and the day turned out perfect.  The theme was Gone Fishing. Colette's husband is a huge Bass Fishing fan. What better way to celebrate his 40th Birthday with one of his favorite pass times. I first went on a Pinterest Quest and then began planning for the party. Check out the Pinterest Board here.
The colors were Royal Blue, Yellow, Silver with an accent of White.
We used crab netting as perfect anchors for the centerpieces complete with blue lit up colored rocks and a beta fish.
Enjoy the party pictures below.

The Barbecue Pit.
These guys  from the Smoke Wagon were great. They brought the entire grill, food and all of the set up. They worked non stop to make the party a success. Great vendor for the Richmond area.

The guest of honor's sister made him a great collage for the 40 years he was on this earth.

This is the guest of honor coming in totally surprised.

The Lovely Family

The cake was from a local bakery in Fredricksburg and was fabulous.

Gone Fishing 40th Birthday Party

I am helping my friend to celebrate her husbands 40th Birthday Party. It's been a lot of changes to this invitation(gotta love a picky host!), but here is the final results.

My friends husband loves to fish and believes that there is no better fish than the Bass Fish. So what better logo is there to use for this party.

Of course you can see all of the idea's for the party here on Pinterest.
