Royal Baby Shower

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of decorating a baby shower for my Best Friend Tamika. The smile on her and Stephens face was priceless. Enjoy some of the pictures below.

 The Dessert Buffet

One of the activties before the guest of honors arrived. We decorated an Alphabet Book for the baby. We had some very creative pages. It got very serious..people were searching the web for words.

We also had a Royal Wishing Tree with paper baby carriages and pacifiers

Royal Baby Shower Project 1

The first project that I have completed for the Royal Baby Shower "Hails" from the Dollar Tree. This is my go to place for inexpensive finds. We all love the big pacifiers and baby carriages. I found the acrylic pacifiers and plastic baby carriages and painted them a metallic gold. Perfect for the shower.
I used Metallic gold paint, Martha Stewart's glitter paint and a yellow paint as the base(all purchased at Michael's for under 2 dollars). I couldn't have asked for a better result. Check it out below.

Royal Baby Shower

My Latest Baby Shower creation is just in time for the birth of the Royal Baby. I have a client who's sister is having a boy. She gave me free rein to come up with any theme I wanted. But I had to use Navy Blue. I'm so in love with Gold right now, I knew this would be the perfect combination. What reminds me most of Gold is Royalty.

I loved the Pink Glitter and Gold Royal Baby Shower that HWTM did for a client. I will be getting a lot of my inspiration from here. Check out some of the pictures below and you can get the full party details here.

Here it what I have started. I love the signage for each table and have used them several times at other parties. I also have begun to develop the invitation and will added more touches like gold paper and possibly a ribbon. I purchased the carriage silhouette from Can Stock Photo. The gold chevron metallic wallpaper (actually for a phone-Can you believe it?) came as a free download from For Chic Sake. Check both out here and here

I'll be posting my many projects along the way.
